Tis the Season to Get Spendin'

~It's the most wonderful time of the year.... to get shopping! Giving is such a touching way to show someone you love them, but sometimes we just run out of ideas!!! 2bit has done some major brainstorming and below are some ideas we know anyone would LOVE (and hopefully won't break the bank)~

Gift Certificate/Cards to the following:
-Favorite restaurants in Lexington or any city you live in (or want to bring someone to!)
-A Massage
-Sephora
-Manicure/Pedicure
-Package to tanning bed 
-Package for a yoga or exercise classes
-Starbucks / coffee times / common grounds, basically a sweet coffee place
-Their favorite store. You just can't go wrong with a gift card unless you get one to .. I can't even think of a place I wouldn't want a gift card to!

-GLOVES; 2bit is smitten by these mittens- smittens. These are simple and basic, I like cable knit- cable knit in cream. Made ya look, these are heinous- no offense if you have these. I look as seductive as she does..Calypso on Maxwell has really cute ones for cheap.
-SCARVES; (2bit really likes the circle scarves- cute, cheap, you're welcome- infinity scarf)  Pashminas are always nice and Urban Outfitters has some really cute scarves. This one is too cute- 
-TOBOGGANS-Lucia's on High Street has some really cute fair trade ones; and basically any of the hats from Nirvannadesigns.com.... (these are some personal faves: crochet flower; flower earflap; crochet multi-color; flower crochet headband; ahhhh 2bit of obsessed) 
-SOCKS- 2bit loves a good Christmas sock but is currently in love with these ski socks that make your feet feel like they are in a sauna, in a good way.. ski socks (go to TJ max and get them for wayyyy cheaper!)

~JEWELRY...Both Calypso and Black Market in Lex have great selections for reasonable prices. These are like a swan on your ear, and who doesn't want that- precious pear. This is sorta cute if you wanna rep for the KY Necklace. If you are from Kansas, sorry, you will look like you are wearing a TV on your neck...

~Makeup and perfume- this time of year you can get awesome gift sets for way cheap... (aka perfume + lotion + lipgloss + makeup bag = same price as just the perfume would normally cost). 2Bit feels like a total diva for loving this as much as she does, but a good brush set is a must, and one with its own plaid purse?? yes please- you are a diva. 2Bit owns this tarte makeup kit, from last year, and 2Bit would give up her left arm to keep it if she had to. It's AwEsOmE.

~Clothes- always welcome. This is a cute sweater- Lole sweater. 2Bit won't give other ideas because BLOG isn't big enough for 2Bit's like of clothes. Yoga pants are great for that yoga gift certificate you bought me, I mean your loved one... knotted yoga pants.

~Pajamas-Victoria's Secret is always a score. These are pretty stinkin' cute- sleep set and sleep set 2

~Hair straightener

~OPI nail polish. Some 2Bit favorites are Linkin Park After Dark and Por Favor

~Eye masks that block out the light when you are trying to sleep... If keeping sunlight away from your vampire eyes is what you are after, this one does the trick better than any 2Bit has used before, and trust, 2Bit loves a sleep mask- give some beauty sleep. This is a 2Bit Cara fav....

~Gel eye mask that you can keep in the fridge so it's cool and relaxing just when you need it. And aromatherapy stuff is good- the things you warm up and put on your neck and back.

~Books. 2Bit loves the idea of giving someone you cherish a book that you cherish, especially if it would be perfect for where that person is in their life. Sign a special note in it and boom you have a thoughtful personal gift. Some favorite Christian books 2Bit recommends are "For Women Only","Power of a Praying Wife"(for you wives), and "Captivating" (for those of you who are single and loving it :). 2Bit also recommends giving someone a classic novel that they haven't read, after all, they are classic for a reason- think "To Kill a Mockingbird," "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe," "Pride and Prejudice" or any Jane Austen book for that matter, "Catcher in the Rye.." You get the pic!

~Movies. Or you could just get them a movie... Movies are great too! You could get someone a Christmas movie and watch it with them! Woo hoo!

~Cook Books- just a few favorites..."The Wycliffe International Cookbook", "America's Test Kitchen"and"Veganomicon."

Homemade Gift Ideas
Everyone loves creative gifts that show you cared enough to put time and effort into it, like: 

~GIFT BASKETS: You could do homemade candy, cookies and treats, or themed baskets that would tickle your givee's fancy, think movie night (popcorn and candy, movies, and something to go along with whatever movie you give); spa treatment (lotions, bath salts, aromatherapy, nail polish, mani / pedi stuff); 2Bit (Joy's and Cara's picture in a homemade fram (here's one fer ya), homemade cookies, copy recipes into a cookbook, food processor.. Guaranteed best present ever :)

If you aren't into the whole "stuff" thing, 2Bit applauds you... Whatever you GET your loves ones, don't GET stressed. Jesus really IS the reason for the season, and gifts are just to bless others. If you don't hit the nail on the head, which how can you go wrong with this list???, don't fret, they still know you care about them.
